Nuit Blanche 2014 | The Paris is Beautiful Guide

6666-NUIT-BLANCHE-2014

Just like every year, the Nuit Blanche event will be taking place in Paris, an event that places art centre stage with exhibitions, installations and other events held over the course of one night. What’s new about this year’s event on October 4, 2014? The experience will go on until 3pm on Sunday. Are you ready for the Great Artistic Trail?

What is new this year?

In order not to miss anything, this year’s Nuit Blanche (literally White Night, the French expression for a sleepless night, in this case Night of the Arts) is based around a Great Artistic Trail: an itinerary marked with a blue line that will allow you to discover the event’s six “points of view”. Each point of view is focussed on one theme within a geographical perimeter that is easy to walk: “les futurs composés” in the Marais, “Ceux que nous sommes” in the 5th arrondissement, “A la lumière des arbres” in the 14th, “Open Musée Street-art contemporain” in the 13th, “Je parf’, ils perfs’… Nous dansons” in the 15th and “Ascension magnétique” in the 7th and the 15th.
As you can clearly guess, there are many, many events on the programme, but don’t panic: we have chosen our favourite events so you won’t see red on this “White Night”… It’s all beautiful!
