This hotel has the ultra-design and slightly futuristic feel we have come to expect from its decorator Ora-Ito. Once again, this renowned designer has developed his own vocabulary to create simple, minimalist luxury. This experience is waiting to be discovered at Hôtel Odyssey, very close to the very chic Place des Victoires.

Futuristic lines and chromatic daring

To open the door to the Hotel Odyssey is to forget life in Paris for just a moment, when you find yourself thrown into a retro-futuristic world where fluid lines make up a decor that appeases the senses. It is a real sensory experience that continues into the bedrooms where the colour wheel plays a vital role because a single colour is used starting from the floor and moving upwards. The philosophy is that of “simplexity” and the designer has gone back to the essentials while exploring subtle and carefully worked shapes. This practice is not unlike the work of Le Corbusier. In the bar, the Bar’O, the minimalist atmosphere continues to reign as you sip incredible cocktails from a menu that changes every month. A “thirst quenching” fruit juice range and a “mind bending” range of cocktail creations – the choice is yours!

Around the hotel

Located in the chic and historic 1st arrondissement, the hotel is just a stone’s throw from Place des Victoires. From here, you can reach the Louvre, going through the marvellous Palais Royal garden or perhaps you would prefer to stroll through nearby Galerie Vivienne. Alternatively, you can reach Beaubourg and the Centre Pompidou modern art museum via Rue Etienne Marcel with its fashion boutiques or take a break on Rue Montorgeuil, a very Parisian street that is bustling and convivial. The hotel is well-serviced by public transport and this allows you to access the many beautiful monuments to visit, such as the Opéra, etc. The team at the hotel can recommend its selection of restaurants and bars and will of course advise you about what to visit in Paris. Our “beautiful” culinary idea: Complete the Ora-Ito experience by trying out his restaurant Le Nano on nearby Rue Bachaumont. Our “beautiful” design idea: Just opposite the hotel is the famous French designer Florence Jaffrain’s boutique Younow.
