First created in 1969 for the third international Flower Show in a deprived part of the Bois de Vincennes woods, this renowned floral park has a collection spread over almost thirty-five hectares.
A landscape in constant movement, a unique observation platform, an oasis of greenery, this floral park presents a collection of 30,000 plant varieties. A combination of so many colours and scents gives this park its exceptional charm. A series of  “Thematic Gardens” (the Mediterranean plant garden, bonsai garden or medicinal plant garden) have some marvellous botany on view. On the verge of the woods, the “Four Seasons Garden” boasts some 1,200 perennial varieties that can be enjoyed all year through : iberis, peonies, carnations, asters, camelias, geraniums, dahlias, … In the Valley of Flowers, the mirror-like water allows a multitude of water plants to bloom. Wherever you care to look (on the ground, in the trees, to the right, to the left), a landscape of exquisite beauty offers itself to you.
After strolling among the many rare and exotic plants, you can head over to the “Paris-Nature” service to find out all about the capital’s “Nature” diary or visit the exhibition space and the butterfly garden where some forty species are on represented.
For relaxation, sport and play, several recreational spaces have been created : a climbing wall, miniature golf, picnic areas, ping-pong tables, a passenger train, quadricycle rides…
In the summertime, this oasis in Paris opens its gates at the weekend and welcomes the Paris Jazz Festival, where you can enjoy open-air concerts by some of the biggest names in jazz music. If you are visiting with children, you can go to one of the two theatres, the Astral and the Guignol, that hold a selection of performances specially created for children.
